a strong background in civil engineering and extensive procurement expertise within the water sector. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in KSA/GCC, a deep understanding of water project requirements, and the ability to integrate international best practices into company's procurement strategies.

Your Job

  • Develop and implement end-to-end procurement strategies for water infrastructure projects, including sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, and contract awards.
  • Oversee the procurement of critical materials, equipment, and services—such as pipelines, pumps, valves, and treatment plant components—ensuring compliance with KSA Water Technical Standards and project specifications.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and quality assurance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and technical requirements.
  • Lead tender processes, including RFQ/RFP development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection, adhering to KSA procurement regulations and international best practices.
  • Optimize inventory management, logistics, and materials handling to minimize delays and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with NWC policies, Saudi regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement, materials management, and cost management, with a focus on water or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working on water projects preferably in KSA or GCC countries, bringing international best practices to the role.
  • Experience with KSA Water technical standards is highly preferred
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is a must
