Job Summary:
The Senior Planning Officer leads production and demand planning activities to ensure operational efficiency, accurate forecasting, and optimal inventory levels. This role supports the Managing Director with data-driven insights and recommendations to meet business targets and customer demand, particularly within an FMCG food repacking environment.

Job Roles:

• Production Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules; align capacity, manpower, and materials; monitor execution and adjust for operational changes.
• Demand & Forecast Planning: Prepare accurate sales forecasts using market trends and customer behavior; maintain rolling forecast models.
• Inventory & Material Planning: Calculate raw material needs; monitor stock levels and safety stocks; coordinate with Procurement.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports on performance metrics; provide insights and recommendations; track KPIs like forecast accuracy and waste ratios.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams; support continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Systems: Maintain data integrity across ERP/WMS; ensure adherence to food safety standards and company policies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in production/demand planning, including 2–3 years in FMCG/food industry.
• Strong understanding of production metrics, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Experience in food repacking or manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma or process improvement certifications
