Job Summary

Lead the full lifecycle of major water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards, fully compliant with KSA regulations.

Your Job

End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage all phases of large-scale water infrastructure projects (pipelines, networks, treatment plants, reservoirs) from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.

Stakeholder & Contract Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders; manage contracts, consultants, and contractors; ensure clear communication and alignment.

Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules (using Primavera P6/MS Project), budgets, and resource allocation plans.

Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Ensure 100% compliance with KSA Water Technical Standards, Saudi Building Codes, environmental regulations, and policies.Financial Control: Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, approve expenditures, and ensure financial reporting accuracy. Aim for on-budget delivery.

Quality & Safety Stewardship: Implement and enforce rigorous quality assurance/control and health, safety, and environment (HSE) programs on site.

Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular, detailed progress reports to senior management and steering committees. Maintain impeccable project documentation.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (civil, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical engineers).

Your Profile

• 15 years of total project engineering/management experience with a Bachelors degree or 10 years of total experience with a Masters degree.
• Minimum 5 years must be in managing/supervising water engineering projects (pipelines, networks, utilities).
• PMP Certified
• Demonstrated experience working on water projects preferably in KSA or GCC countries, bringing international best practices to the role.
• Experience with KSA Water technical standards is highly preferred
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is a must
