Position Summary

An experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our presence in the renewable energy sector. will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans, fostering key partnerships, and driving revenue growth in alignment with our company's commitment to sustainable and clean energy solutions.

Your job

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve growth objectives.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the renewable energy industry.
Lead the acquisition of new clients and manage relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
Prepare and present compelling proposals, business cases, and contractual agreements to clients, investors, and partners.
Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for projects and partnerships.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with technical, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective promotional materials and campaigns.
Financial Analysis and Budget Management:
Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit assessments and revenue projections, to support decision-making.
Manage budgets and financial resources for business development activities.
Regulatory Compliance and Policy Awareness:
Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements, policies, and standards in the renewable energy sector.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations in business development activities.

Market Expansion and Partnership Development:

Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion through partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations.
Evaluate and negotiate partnership agreements to enhance the company's position in the renewable energy market.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, performance metrics, and progress reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience 15+ years of experience in a similar position

Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinking and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with financial modeling and budget management.
