Job Summary

  • Strong legal and contractual background to manage and administer contracts for large-scale water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive GCC/KSA experience, expertise in water projects, and a deep understanding of international best practices in contract management, claims, and compliance.

Your Job

    • Administer end-to-end contract lifecycle processes for water infrastructure projects, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and close-out.
    • Ensure strict compliance with KSA Water Technical Standards, Saudi Building Codes (SBC), and local regulatory requirements.
    • Manage contract variations, claims, extensions of time, and dispute resolution processes in alignment with FIDIC-based contracts and other relevant frameworks.
    • Liaise with legal, project management, finance, and procurement teams to mitigate risks and ensure contractual obligations are met.
    • Review and interpret contract terms, providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Maintain accurate contract records, databases, and documentation to support audit and reporting requirements.
    • Monitor contractor performance, deliverables, and adherence to contractual milestones and quality standards.
    • Support tender processes, including evaluation of contractual terms and conditions in proposals.
  • Your Profile
  • Bachelors Degree Civil Engineering,
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MRICS, CIArb) is advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in contract administration and legal background, with a focus on water or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contract suites and KSA contractual and regulatory framework
  • Demonstrated experience working on water projects preferably in KSA or GCC countries, bringing international best practices to the role.
  • Experience with KSA Water technical standards is highly preferred
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is a must
